Windows & doors
A solid-core door with a moulded skin. It does not warp in the sun, does not swell in the wet, and does not need painting.
The door is built around a solid core with a tough moulded skin bonded to it, so it behaves itself through a Yorkshire winter in a way a timber door does not. The colour goes right through the skin rather than sitting on top of it.
Most of what people choose is the arrangement rather than the door — glazed side panels, a fanlight over the top, the glass pattern, and the colour of the ironmongery. We measure the structural opening and work out what will actually fit before showing you options.

Detail
No warping, no swelling, no sticking in August and dropping in February.
Hooks and rollers engaging up the height of the frame, with a high-security cylinder.
Glazed panels either side and over the head where the opening allows, so a dark hall gets light without losing the door.
Scratches do not show a different colour underneath, and it never needs painting.
Before you decide
The part of the conversation most quotes leave out.
What you are actually getting. If something here does not suit your garage, say so and we will price the alternative.

Questions
The lock and the cylinder matter more than the door leaf. We fit multi-point locking with a high-security cylinder as standard and will talk you through the options.
If the opening is wide enough, yes. It is the single biggest improvement to a dark hallway and it is what most people choose.
The colour runs through the skin rather than being painted on, so fading is minimal and a scratch does not show a different colour beneath.
Yes. A replacement external door is notifiable work, and we put it through your local authority building control, who inspect and certificate it. You will want that paperwork when you sell.

Garage side doors and house back doors, in steel or uPVC.
Four types of door, and the right one depends on your garage rather than on what we would like to sell you. Here is what each one does well, and what it does badly.
Send a photograph and a postcode and we will come back with a figure. If it is a repair and the door is stuck, ring instead — we prioritise those.
