Quotations
Quotes are given in writing after a survey and are valid for thirty days unless we say otherwise. The price we quote is the price you pay. Two things can change it: work you ask us to add once we are on site, and something found when the old door or roof comes off that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand. In either case we stop and give you a price before doing anything that costs more.
Deposits and payment
Where goods are made to order we take a deposit, and the balance is due on completion.
Cancellation
Where a contract is agreed at your home you have fourteen days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for what has been done. Goods made to your specification may not be cancellable once ordered.
Guarantees
Manufacturers' guarantees are passed to you and their terms apply. As a guide, doors and roofs generally carry ten years and operators and motors five, but the figure on your quotation is the one that counts.
Our own labour is guaranteed for two years from completion. That is separate from, and in addition to, the manufacturer's cover.
Your legal rights
Nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
