Windows and doors for the rest of the house
We are set up for doors and openings, and that does not stop at the garage. Front doors, windows, and the awkward side door that three people have already turned down.
A lot of this work arrives sideways. We go to quote a garage door and end up replacing the side door as well, because it is the same trade, the same measuring and the same day.
Single windows and one-off doors are the jobs the bigger window firms are not interested in. They are exactly the size of job that suits us.

What that means on the job
One door, no minimum order
A single window or one back door is a job we will happily quote. It does not have to be a whole house.
Signed off the proper way
Replacement windows and external house doors are notifiable under the building regulations. We are not currently members of a self-certification scheme, so the work is notified to your council's building control, who inspect it and issue your certificate. We tell you what that costs before you commit to anything.
Made good properly
Trims, sealing and reinstatement inside and out. Not filled with silicone and left.

Failed window unit replaced
A misted double-glazed unit in a discoloured frame. Taken out and replaced with a new white uPVC casement with obscure glazing, made good to the brickwork.

Common questions
Do you take on single windows?
Yes. One window or one door is a normal job for us.
Do I get a building regulations certificate?
Yes, and you will want it when you sell. We are not in a self-certification scheme at the moment, so rather than issuing it ourselves the work is notified to your local authority building control, who inspect and certificate it. It is the same certificate; it just comes from the council. We will tell you the fee up front.
